GCFI Email Lists

GCFI operates three listservers: the GCFINet LISTSERV® list, the CaMPAM-L LISTSERV® list, and the STROMBUS-L LISTSERV®list. All Listservers are moderated to avoid spam and junk e-mails and emails are screened to ensure they are virus free. Attachments are permitted.
GCFINet
The GCFINet List is a LISTSERV® list dedicated to providing a forum for real-time exchange of information on marine activities and issues in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean region. For 10 years, David Anderson served as the moderator under a partnership betwen Texas A&M University and GCFI. In 2009, GCFI incorporated the list into the exisitng GCFI domain and GCFI now moderates the list.
CAMPAM-L
The CAMPAM-L List is a LISTSERV® list for the Caribbean Marine Protected Areas Managers Network and Forum (CaMPAM) dedicated to providing a forum for real-time exchange of information on ecosystem-based methods of managing marine resources in the Caribbean region. Topics include management, science, resources and opportunities related to MPAs in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean region. It is maintained under a partnership between GCFI and the United Nations Environment Programme's Caribbean Environment Programme. Georgina Bustamante is the moderator. STROMBUS-L
The STROMBUS-L List is a LISTSERV® list dedicated to providing a forum for real-time exchange of information on Strombus gigas including management, science, CITES issues. The list is a partnership between GCFI and NOAA's Caribbean Fisheries Management Council. Bob Glazer moderates the list in English; Gabriel Delgado moderates the list in Spanish.
