Air Travel
GCFI has arranged a 5% discount for people travelling to Pointe a Pitre using

- The percentage discount can be booked on-line at www.aa.com for AA/AE flights only. Use the authorization number noted above as the aa.com promotion code. Certain restrictions apply.
- Tickets may be purchased by calling AA Meeting Services at 1-800-433-1790. For AA ticketing the form of payment must be money order, certified/cashier check, valid credit card and a separate ticketing fee will apply.
- Electronic ticketing must be issued for all eligible itineraries, otherwise a paper ticket fee will apply.
- Other airline segments must be ticketed separately unless otherwise noted in contract. - AADVANTAGE members may accrue mileage on American Airlines for tickets purchased at contracted rates. For the rules of mileage accrual on partner airlines, please check with the AADVANTAGE Department.
- Electronic and Monetary upgrades to Business or First class are allowed after ticketing. Certificate award upgrades to Business or First are allowed based on AADVANTAGE certificate guidelines.

Hotel Information
Hotel Reservations

The 61st GCFI will be held at the Hotel Arawak in Gosier, Guadeloupe. The Arawak is a 3-star hotel located on the beach and within walking distance to the village of Gosier. -
GCFI has negotiated a special conference rate of 90 € per night plus 1 € per night tax. Reservations must be made through the online form in order to secure the conference rate. Rooms can accomodate 1, 2, 3 or 4 people. Upon submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email from the hotel along with instructions on sending credit card information for reserving the room by fax. Your credit card will not be charged until checking into/out of the hotel.

BONUS - A free excursion to the islands of Petite Terre will be offered on Saturday 15 November to the first 150 people registering for a room at the hotel. This excursion will include lunch. -
Meals
GCFI has also negotiated free lunches at the hotel for the first 150 people registering for a room at the hotel. Room registrations must be made BEFORE 30 September.

Visa Requirements
People who require visas to enter the European Union are required to obtain visas prior to arrival in Guadeloupe. Visas can be obtained through the French embassies [pdf].
